April 2016: Newcastle University

Our Keynote ‘Researching  Educational Leadership: Conceptual and Methodological Challenges’ was presented by Professor Sue Robson, School of Education, Communication and Language Sciences, Newcastle University

This talk explored the new forms of educational leadership that are emerging in response to social, cultural, political, and economic changes internationally. It considered some of the challenges for research and for the professional development of current and aspiring educational leaders. The slides can be accessed here.

Our Panel debate explored the kinds of evidence which were and could be generated by educational leadership researchers and was led by Professor Miriam David, UCL Institute of Education Dr Victoria Showunmi, UCL Institute of Education Professor Liz Todd, School of Education, Communication and Language Sciences, Newcastle University, Professor Sue Robson, School of Education, Communication and Language Sciences, Newcastle University and Dr Alison Fox, School of Education, University of Leicester. September 2016: Leeds University 

Our Early Career Researcher Panel debate returned to the six themes identified at the April event and was led by panelists: Mishel Moriah, University of Aberdeen, Deb Outhwaite, Warwick University, Liz Hidson, Durham University and Anna Reid, Newcastle University.
